Privacy Policy

Bevel & Periscope is designed as a 100% local field instrument. The iOS app does not collect, transmit, rent, or sell any personal data.

1. iOS App Data & Permissions

• Camera & Torch: Used solely on your device to render the live Periscope inspection preview, Sighting Scope, and freeze-frame inspection captures. Video frames never leave your device unless you explicitly share or save a photo.
• Motion & Hinge Sensors: Used locally in real time to calculate pitch, roll, spirit-level alignment, and foldable hinge angles.
• Photo Library: Used only when you choose to save a stamped inspection image to your Photos library.
• Field Cut Log: Saved angles, miter settings, and notes are stored locally inside the app sandbox on your iPhone. There is no cloud account, analytics SDK, or advertising tracker inside the app.

2. Website Launch Waitlist

If you voluntarily submit your email address on our website launch waitlist, we store your email address and optional posture preference solely to send you a notification when Bevel & Periscope launches on the App Store. You may request immediate removal at any time by emailing support@elitecoders.co.
